General Membership Questions

  • Arlington Players Club (APC Tennis Club) offers a unique red clay court tennis experience in Kearny, NJ, with unlimited red clay court access, seven well-maintained red clay courts, and a welcoming tennis community. Open seven days a week from April to November, members enjoy competitive and social play, insightful coaching, and a charming clubhouse with the most inviting porch in tennis. When you join APC, you join a group of community-minded tennis enthusiasts across all levels.

  • We offer Family, Individual, Kids, and Social memberships to accommodate players of all ages and skill levels.

  • Yes, non-members are welcome to rent court time at APC Tennis Club.

    We offer red clay court tennis rentals for non-members at a rate of $50 per hour. Whether you're looking to play a casual match or practice on our historic red clay courts, we’re happy to accommodate. To check availability and reserve a court, please email Lynn Oelz at lynno@signsbylynn.com

    We recommend booking in advance, especially during peak hours and weekends.

  • No! We welcome beginners, intermediate, and advanced players. Whether you’re just learning the game or looking to refine your skills, our club provides a friendly and supportive environment.

  • Yes, non-members can participate in clinics to improve their game with professional instruction for an additional fee of $20 per session. However, red clay court access and other club benefits are exclusive to members.

  • We’d love to have you visit! New players are invited to try out our red clay courts for free as our guest. If you decide to join, simply fill out the membership form and submit payment via email or mail. New members get 50% off their first year—and family members get 25% off, too!

Red clay courts & Facilities

  • Red clay courts offer a softer playing surface, which reduces stress on joints, enhances endurance, and promotes longer rallies. The surface encourages tactical play, better ball control, and sliding techniques, creating a truly unique and enjoyable tennis experience.

  • APC Tennis Club features seven meticulously maintained red clay courts.

  • Our season runs from mid-April through late November, with courts open daily from 8am–dark.

  • Yes, members can bring up to four guests per year for a fee of $20 per guest.

  • We are located in Kearny, NJ, and welcome players from Hudson County, Bergen County, and beyond.

Clubhouse & Event Rentals
